With my MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the former NOMAD MFA program at University of Hartford (now the Confluence MFA program at UNM), and my previous BFA in Multimedia and Performing Arts from the Studio for Interrelated Media (Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston), I am poised to expand on my art teaching portfolio and am interested in teaching foundation studio art, technology, and interdisciplinary courses. The degree programs I attended were intensively both critique and community-based.
As of Fall 2023, I became an adjunct for the College of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) teaching required BFA and MFA courses.
My references include Mary Mattingly, Christy Gast, Billie Lee, and Nita Sturiale.
Ideation and Series
◥ Fall 2023Technology in the Studio
◥ Fall 2023Prior to my studies in art, I studied architecture at Carnegie-Mellon University and worked for architectural firms in various parts of the Northeast US, including the award-wining Payette in Boston. I went on to teach many first-year architecture studios and program electives as regular part-time faculty from 2016 to 2021 at University of Hartford for the Department of Architecture until I relocated with my family to Rochester, NY.
Most recently I have been teaching for the RIT Online M.Arch program as adjunct faculty.
